DTG approach to COVID-19


Dear Members, Partners and Customers,

Together, as we face a truly unprecedented situation affecting all our families, communities and businesses, I wanted to update you on how we are approaching the situation at the DTG.

Firstly, our hearts go out to all those impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our Council and Board cannot over-stress that the well-being of our industry and team remain our priority.

Secondly, putting viewers front and centre, we will do all we can to support our members as they work tirelessly to ensure the ongoing resilience of television; it continues to play an important role at the very heart of society.

Finally, we are working hard with individuals across the industry to minimise the business impact, not least at a time of restricted international travel, embracing virtual working and, where safe and practical, on site at DTG Testing.

In summary, the following measures and working practices are in place:

  • Meetings: Virtual (Teams or GoToMeeting)
  • Events: Virtual or Postponed
  • Testing and Development: Working virtually and onsite as required (subject to Government advice, safe travel arrangements and adequate social distancing)
