Obtain the 'digital tick' logo

A logo, known as the 'digital tick', has been developed as a certification mark to help consumers and retailers through switchover in the United Kingdom.
Digital UK, the organisation tasked with communicating digital switchover to the public, features the 'digital tick' in its marketing campaign, and consumers are told to “look for the logo" when buying digital TV equipment.
The logo is designed to identify digital TV products (such as integrated digital TV sets, digital boxes and digital television recorders/DTRs) and digital TV services (such as Sky, Freeview, Freesat and Virgin Media) that are designed to work through switchover.
To obtain the 'digital tick' logo for a digital terrestrial television product, please follow the suggested steps below:
Step 1 – Visit www.digitallogo.co.uk
Step 2 – View the ‘Logo Do's and Don'ts’ page here to select which logo you wish to apply for and find out where they can and cannot be used.
Step 3 – Register for the log-in section of the site.
Step 4 – Register for a Digital Television Equipment Licence online by filling out the required forms in this section. Take time to read Annex A of the licence document as it contains the product specification criteria manufacturers must comply with.
Step 5 – Check your product meets the DTG’s requirements for DVB-T receivers. The specification for UK DVB-T and DVB-T2 receivers is published by the DTG in the 'D-Book'.
Step 6 – Some test laboratories offer optional pre-compliance testing for the 'digital tick' and Freeview logos. If a product passes the pre-compliance tests a report will be produced that will indicate that the product is likely to pass DTG test and conformance. Manufacturers can also license test suites directly from DTG Testing for in-house pre-compliance testing.
Step 7 – When you believe a product is ready for testing please contact DTG Testing: testing@dtg.org.uk to book a test slot.
Step 8 – Once your product has completed the DTG test and conformance process you will be supplied with a detailed test report that will tell you whether your product has passed or failed.
Step 9 – If the product passes DTG Testing, send the test report and supporting documentation to Digital UK to obtain the 'digital tick' logo and supply a representative sample of your receiver to DTG Testing.
Step 10 – Your product is awarded the ‘digital tick’ logo
