DTG TESTING HOSTS HbbTV PLUGFEST

The Digital UK MHEG Transition Working Group coordinates interoperability testing of HbbTV receivers and applications. To smooth the introduction of HbbTV to the UK, the DTG will be hosting a series of Plugfests on behalf of the Working Group to help the TV industry deliver quality implementations to the market.

The first Plugfest will be held at the DTG in London from 30th May - 2nd June 2017. This four day event will provide a controlled environment for manufacturers and application developers to test interoperability of early test applications on devices (under development or deployed).

The Plugfest is open to all DTG Members and other interested parties. Those who wish to participate with their HbbTV receivers, applications and test harnesses should contact Ranjeet Kaur and complete a registration form by 19th May 2017.

The DTG will be hosting an HbbTV Test Event at the same time, with an opportunity for HbbTV members to review and execute new test cases with test developers in attendance: please contact Ranjeet for more details.
