The only UKAS accredited test lab in the UK

DAB Tick Mark Testing

With the launch of the Digital radio certification mark (“tick mark”), DTG Testing are currently the only UK UKAS accredited and DRUK approved test facility for carrying out DAB tick mark testing.

Radio Equipment Directive (RED) Testing

RED compliance is mandatory for products sold in the EU from June 13th 2017.
For broadcast radio receivers, products must meet requirements in ETSI EN 303 345 to demonstrate compliance.
DTG Testing is offering testing against EN 303 345 for as little as £200 when booked with a tick mark test.
For more information and to book a test please see below.

Prices and Test Options

DTG Testing are now authorised by DRUK to process DAB Tick Mark applications meaning the process of achieving the DAB Tick mark can all be done through one service at DTG Testing.

To launch the new service, DTG Testing are running a 3-month special offer of £650 (normally £775) for tick mark testing and applications. Reports will be provided and the tick mark application process started within 1 working day of completed tests.

Our DAB test process is based upon the proposed minimum specifications announced by the Digital Radio Action Plan (DRAP) Technology and Equipment Group. We’ve been closely involved in the development of these specifications from the start and we’re committed to helping manufacturers through the test process quickly and efficiently.

Testing is confidential and a professional report is provided which can be used to demonstrate compliance and apply for digital radio certification.

Comprehensive Test Facilities

Our testing process uses a TESEQ GTEM 2000, allowing radiated RF testing on a wide range of product dimensions.

Test signals are played back via DTG Testing’s state of the art Rohde & Schwarz signal generation and measurement equipment which allows flexibility in the choice of frequency and signal level that can be tested.

All the equipment is calibrated to traceable standards:

  • Testing is repeatable;
  • Measurements can be verified against reference receivers; and
  • Results are reliable.
