DTG Testing provides the product testing services used by manufacturers to demonstrate conformance to the Freeview, Freeview HD, Freeview New Zealand and Freesat trade marks and the 'digital tick' certification mark
We are the UK’s only UKAS ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited laboratory for standard and high definition digital terrestrial television (Freeview) and standard and high definition digital satellite (Freesat) receiver testing.
DTG Testing produces industry-approved test suites that ensure products meet the performance required to meet the criteria for the 'digital tick' and the Freeview, Freeview HD and Freesat logos.
DTG Testing's receiver ‘Zoo’ houses the UK’s largest collection of representative samples of DTT and DSAT receivers and is used to support the digital switchover by gathering data about the capability of receivers deployed in the UK and for interactive application testing.
DTG Testing also manages the Freeview and Freesat Engineering Channel, which is used by manufacturers to provide over-air downloads to the software in deployed receivers.
